Try drinking at least a pint of water every day (8 pints is the recommended amount!) and mix it with some exercise and healthy food. Just watch your skin become healthier and healthier!

WHY I HAVEN'T BEEN POSTING !

So if anyone has actually noticed, i haven't posted for a while, and that is because i am trying to get more followers so that they actually comment and invite people to this blog !!

I want to reach 20 followers before i start posting properly again, and we have 9 at the moment (which i am proud of).

Furthermore, I would like to say thank you to my followers (despite the fact that you don't comment or even bother to have a look at this blog) because you are the people who will one day make my blog successful, hopefully at the top with other stardoll blogs like, Inbetween, Underneath and Stardolls Most Wanted.

But if that ever happens, it will be a good, long wait!

ISSUE NUMBER TWO OF 'A LA MODE'

For those of you who don't know 'a la mode' is a fashion magazine based in my album. ATM, i am refurbishing my album for issue number two therefore that is why my album is a complete and utter mess ! I really appreciated the feedback i got last time and i will be taking the criticism and making the magazine bigger and better ! I will also be adding a make-overs column in my magazine , and for a limited time, I am doing free make-overs ! Normally make-overs cost 2SD or 20SC. 
Furthermore, I will make a graphic version of my magazine which i will post on my blog - lomiiepie.blogspot.com (i haven't posted in a while, and that is all down to the fact that i am trying to get more followers).
I know i said last time that there would be a graphic version of the magazine on my blog but this time i mean it, and i also have much more free time on my hands !
Finally, this issue 'number 2' is more of a issue 'number 1 refurbished'. I didn't dedicate much time to my magazine last time so that is why i am re-doing it.

Today's Quick Tip

If you want your lips to appear fuller, apply lipgloss in the middle of your lips more vigorously than the rest of your lips, this retracts light, making your lips appear fuller.

Also, dab a little white eye shadow on your cupids bow which also creates the illusion of fuller lips.

Try suctioning your lips in a deodorant lid for 4 minutes for a bee-stung look!

Today's Quick Tip

Always apply primer before using eye-shadow. It makes the color POP and it helps the eye-shadow last longer.
Here are some of the best primers:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
MAC Paint Pot - Soft Ochre (you don't necessarily have to use this shade but i find it works for most complexions)
L'Oreal Color Extender
Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Or you can make your own primer by simply mixing some Nivea cream and Liquid foundation or concealer together :)

Wanna rule the Stardoll catwalk?

Here are some tips!









Try on all your different outfits, accessories and make-up and save them all in your album. This way your me-doll is bound to appear on the catwalk and on someone's computer screen.

Be stylish - think of all the current  fashion trends and dress accordingly. Or you can go Lady Gaga for a different look.

Buy new clothes and accessories all the time - this way you have something new to put in your album.

Don't forget! You don't have to be superstar to be ruling the catwalk! Non-superstars can still be stylish and BE ruling the catwalk. Just look at SAM-Supergirl, Geo_rgiana, estrellita and fashion_lover01!

Always save your dolls in your album otherwise they won't appear on the catwalk!!!

Be patient - remember these things take time but don't lose hope.

New Club

Heyy guys, yuh gud?

I'm making a new club on stardoll called .a.la.mode , it's gonna be based in my album, this blog and the club itself. We're gonna need models and all sorts and we will be holding competitions!

Also, there is still only one follower on this blog! Why? I've advertised this blog on stardoll as much as i can but nobody has still bothered to follow!

So basically what i am trying to say is, please please please follow this blog, if you don't you cant enter the competitions and you won't have regular updates on whats happening.

I think it is wonderful that stardoll are tributing one of THE best designers! I am in love with the actual collection and the makeup products!

So the old competition was a complete fail, so im holding a new one!

What you have to do is follow this blog, dress your medoll in the clothes from The YvesSaintLaurent Tribute Store in Starplaza, put some makeup and accessories on and then print screen your medoll.

Then send me a link to your medoll (in the comments!) and i will judge it from there.

Hair Trends 2011

If there are any females reading this, I am positive you have at one point of your life, have said 'is my hair too outdated' or 'does my hair look nice?'

This post is all about the current hair trends.

To be honest they haven't changed much since last year but there are some differences.

Hair Do's & Dont's:

If you do decide to dye your hair, try and stay close to your natural colour. If you're a natural brown or black. a reddish brown would suit you. Light hair colours only suit some, and if it suits YOU - you are very lucky indeed.

Do not step out with messy, tangled, or greasy hair. Not only is this damaging to your hair but this also makes you look 'cheaper'. There is somewhat of an exception for gym.

Do not use a comb on wet hair, this damages hair follicles instead use a brush such as the paddle brush.

Do not wash your hair too often, this strips your hair of its natural oils.

If you suffer from a flaky scalp:

Cider vinegar eliminates dandruff from your scalp. Use after shampooing on the final rinse.

Do not use T-Gel, it is said to contain an ingredient which has a chance of causing cancer.

Instead of using a professional conditioner, use natural yoghurt. After shampooing and rinsing, apply yoghurt to scalp and leave for 10-15 minutes and then rinse.

Baby oil, coconut oil and lemon juice are all said to get rid of dandruff. Click here to find out how to use them.

Hair trends:

A chic mohawk is still in fashion. This works well with rounds faces (like Cameron Diaz's) and oval faces (like Rihanna's).

The double hair knot

The waved bob. This doesn't work well with round and heart shaped faces as it accentuates the roundness.

Full fringes/bangs are back in fashion. Go blunt like Kate Moss.

The pixie hair crop. I would only recommend this to people with oval or diamond (like Halle Berry's) shape faces as you need good facial structure to work this off, as with all short hair styles.

Bleach blonde hair is back in season.

Reddish brown /Auburn hair.
